Characteristics
Lacryma Christi White DOC – Pale yellow in color, aromas of pear and other tree fruits complement undertones of white peach and licorice.
On the palate, strident minerality and good body make this a well-structured, food-friendly wine.
According to the story, God
cried when he found a corner of Heaven stolen by Lucifer and where his tears fell, there grew the grapes that make Lacryma Christi, which translates as “tears of Christ.
Precious and appreciated worldwide, this wine of great versatility and easy to match, pale yellow in color and light scent reminiscent of the broom flowers and ripe fruit.

 

Wine pairings
Wine pairs with sautè of clams, fish soup, risotto bass and asparagus, salad and fresh cheese, mussels, ricotta pie perfumed with the scent of grass.
